A pair of Chinese spinach-green jade pricket candlesticks, each carved as stylised ducks standing with outstretched wings, with eggs in their mouths, supporting the drip-pans on their heads, standing on the backs of mythical tortoiseses and serpents in shallow tripod saucers incised with waves with a border of key-pattern to the everted rims, the undersides carved with a band of lotus-petals -- 8¾in.high, 18th/19th century.
