A German porcelain oviform coffee-pot applied with a scrolling handle and with a sparrow-beak spout, painted in the Kakiemon palette with exotic birds amongst peonies issuing from rockwork, enriched in gilt, with sprays of iron-red foliage, blue crossed swords mark, circa 1780, possibly Meissen -- 6 1/8in. high
