A late Victorian burr walnut davenport, with pierced gallery and leather lined sloping lid enclosing a fitted interior in bird's eye maple, on fluted column supports and with four panel drawers to the side and opposing dummy drawers on plinth base, stamped Lamb, Manchester, 22in. (66cm.) wide.
