An exhibition standard single cylinder horizontal enclosed crank petrol engine built to the design of ET Westbury and a four pole shunt wound dynamo both built by R L A Bell. Engine dimensions (excluding exhaust) -- 8 x 9in (20.3 x 22.8cm)

The engine has single water jacketed cylinder with cam and lever operated inlet and exhaust valves, water inlet and outlet pipes, the inlet with shut-off cock, carburettor with choke and fuel valves, crankcase mounted fuel tank and pump, twin flywheels with shaft governor, linkage and throttle valve and belt pulley. Further details include crankcase filler, draincock and pipe, ratchet operated lubricator with sight glass and tank drain, adjustable make and break and exhaust pipe and silencer. Finished in green and polished/plated brightwork. Wood mount and starting handle.

The round frame dynamo has lifting eye, opening terninal box, belt drive pulley, adjustable slide mounting and produces approx. 20w at 6v and 3.5 a at 1600-1800 rpm
