A wakizashi, with gilt-bronze tsuba decorated in hirazogan and takazogan with warriors beside breaking waves and below pine on a nanako ground, the gilt-bronze fuchi-kashira decorated with warriors in combat and on horseback on a similar ground, shagreen hilt fitted with bronze menuki modelled as horses, the two-tone black lacquered scabbard simulating scrolling foliage and fitted with gilt-bronze kozuka -- the blade 20.in.long, the blade signed Kagemitsu.
