A French oval gold and enamel mounted brown agate cameo brooch engraved with three-quarter face and portrait of a bearded man, the pink and white foliate mount enamelled in the style of Gilles Légaré and with rose cut diamond points around the rims, circa 1870 with lozenge maker's initials GG, an arrow for différence, 4.0cms high.
