An Italian giltwood and cream-painted torchere with circular top, and baluster-turned shaft carved with entrelacs, laurel leaf swags and classical urns on tripod base hung with swags, with scroll and ball feet, late 18th/early 19th Century, possibly adapted to fit a corner - 56in. (142cm.) high.
