A silver gilt presentation casket of rectangular form on panel feet, the sides richly chased with Glasgow scenes including the Cathedral, Trongate; The Stirling library and Jamaica Bridge with Celtic-style zoomorphic panels between, the hinged cover with portrait medallions and dated 1843/93 and with figure finial, silk interior containing presentation manuscript by Muirhead & Arthur, Glasgow 1892 9½in. wide (gross weight 55oz.)
