An Austrian giltwood and simulated marble mantel clock, the drum shaped case with circular dial, white enamel chapter and second rings, with engine milled bezel and centre, the three train movement striking a gong, the case supported by Egyptian female figures flanking a seated classically draped woman, and surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings, on a stepped platform with paw feet, restored, basically early 19th century -- 21¾in. high.
