A late Victorian plain tapering coffee pot in the mid 18th century taste, with tapering angular spout, ebonised wood scroll handle, and domed hinged cover with baluster finial, one side engraved with a crest, on a circular stand with three scroll supports, with a plated detachable burner, the coffee pot and the stand D and J Wellby, London 1897 - overall height 9¾in., weight excluding burner 20.75oz. gross.
