A pierced paperlace card with satin centre applied with a mechanical chromolithographic bouquet, the stems of each posy with attributes concealing roundels showing scenes of domestic life, when the string is pulled the flowers merge into one bouquet, 7 x 4in., c. 1860; and two other pierce paperlace cards both heightened in silver and gilt, one applied with fabric flowers, the other with fabric leaves and real shells.
