Three valentine cards with hand-coloured lithographed centres and printed verses, two by Rock & Co., one entitled 'The Magic Glass', depicting a magician with his books conjuring up a vision for a young lady of her future marriage, the verse reads 'In yonder glass our happy fate descry; Nor question further our blest destiny: Tho' long neglected, & tho' long denied, See there a happy youth & willing bride', 10 x 8in., c. 1840.
