VICTORIAN VALENTINE CARDS
An embossed and pierced paperlace card in three layers, the final layer being a chromolithographic floral frame surrounding an embroidered centre with the words 'Our Hearts by/Love United/Nor days, Nor/Nights can sever/Our bodies may/Be parted/Our hearts/Love on for/Ever', 5½ x 4in., c. 1870; and five other cards, the majority sent to 'Miss Leah Hall'.
