A matched pair of late George II and early George III cast shell-decorated hexafoil baluster candlesticks on dished rising square bases, each with a waisted socket, Ebenezer Coker, London 1759 and 1762 - 8½in., each fitted with a detachable nozzle, one unmarked, the other struck with the maker's mark of William Grundy and with traces of a lion passant, the bases later-engraved with crests and mottos - 38.50oz.
