A late 19th century French scarlet boulle mantel clock, the rectangular arched case with foliate chased ormolu mounts surmounted by a winged figure blowing horn, the glazed door to the front enclosing a circular brass dial with enamelled Roman numerals signed G. LAINÉ PARIS , the twin train movement with gong strike -- 41½in. high.
