A Victorian gilt-lined compressed pear-shaped mustard pot on figural scroll feet, with a rustic entwined branch scroll handle, and domed, hinged cover applied with a stylised shell and scroll border and with a tree finial, the body cast and chased with a bucolic figure within a village landscape in the manner of David Teniers, the 17th. century Dutch painter, the cover with similar decoration, John S. Hunt, London 1851, the underside engraved: "HUNT & ROSKELL LATE STORR MORTIMER & HUNT" - 3¾in., with a non-matching spoon, the gnarled branch stem with figure terminal, maker's mark indistinct, possibly John Figg, London 1878 - 7oz.
