A late 19th/early 20th century French miniature silver gilt candle lantern, the cylindrical glazed body pierced and chased with frieze bands of berried laurel, the conforming urpright bars terminating with with stiff leaf tablets, the stepped domed top surmounted by a swing handle with ring turned rosewood insert, on fluted toupe feet, the base stamped BOINTABURET A PARIS -- 9¼in. (23.5cm) high.
