A George III mahogany and line-inlaid secretaire bookcase, the arched pierced pediment centred by a gilt-bronze lion mask above pendant frieze and pair of astragal-glazed doors enclosing shelves, with hinged fall enclosing fitted interior, centred by shell-inlaid cupboard, above pair of oval panelled doors enclosing drawer on bracket feet, the feet reduced (damaged veneers) - 49in. (124½cm.) wide, 21½in. (54.5cm.) deep, 90½in. (230c.) high.
