A George II style mahogany twin-chair-back settee, with acanthus-carved paper-scroll top-rail above pierced splats, the central upright applied with a shell, S-scroll arms terminating in lion's masks, the padded seat on mask and cabochon-headed cabriole legs with hairy paw feet - 56in. (142.5cm.) wide.
