A George III gadrooned pear-shaped hot water jug on a spreading foot, with a wicker-covered scroll handle and domed hinged cover with spiral twist finial, the front engraved with an armorial, and crest within a bright-cut oval cartouche with bow surmount, maker's initials I. B., a star in between, probably overstriking another maker, London 1766 - 10¾in., 21oz. gross.
