A Chamberlain's Worcester two-handled urn and cover of straight-sided form, painted with a continuous scene of Bacchus and a companion drawn in a chariot by centaurs in a landscape, satyrs and dancing maidens in attendance, the handles and finial moulded with bunches of grapes, the upper part painted with garlands of flowers, the lower moulded with fruiting vine above a marbleised socle and plinth, inscribed to the cover (damages and repairs) circa 1800 -- 17½in. high
