Three pairs of Turkish gold damascened steel scissors decorated with narrow panels of dense foliage (some rubbing) -- 9 to 11in. long; two pairs of Persian steel scissors, one pair carved with panels of calligraphic inscriptions, the other with pierced floral fret work -- both approximately 6in. long; and a pair of Indian carved ivory and steel scissors decorated with tapering panels of scrolling leafy vines -- 5½in. long.
