A Persian coco-de-mer kashkul carved with a broad band of shaped cartouches of calligraphic inscriptions above narrow bands of scrolling flowerheads and foliage, the base with shaped medallions of fighting tigers on a flowerhead ground, the top with an opening aperture bordered by two birds heads and a shaped medallion containing religious invocations, white metal link chain and fittings -- 11½in. wide.
