A 120-rollfilm prototype Rolleiflex 2.8 Aurum TLR camera (un-numbered) with light meter, gilt fittings, lizard skin body covering, a Heidosmat f/2.8 80mm. viewing lens no. 937670 and a Schneider Xenotar f/2.8 80mm. taking lens no. 12847301 in a Symchro-Compur shutter, in maker's box.

Lot Essay

This camera was one of two prototypes prepared in 1982, one of which was presented to the Managing Director of Rollei Fototechnic. The camera was based on the last Rollei 2.8f. It appeared in 1983 as the Aurum 2.8f camera with the new company name and logo and with other modifications.
