The later dentilled pediment above a moulded cornice and blind fretwork carved frieze fitted with an arched glazed door enclosing a brass dial with subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture and silvered chapter ring, inscribed to the arch Partrick (sic) Gordon, Edingbrough (sic), the case fitted with a rectangular trunk door with circular glazed brass-framed lenticle, decorated all-over with Chinoiserie scenes, on a moulded panelled base, restorations,
