Lot Essay

William Campion who was born in Herefordshire entered the Society of Jesus at Watten near Saint Omer in 1624 and later became a professed father. He stayed with the mission for many years and later became a Rector of St. Francis Xavier's College in 1655 and afterwards was appointed Rector of the House of Tertians at Ghent where he died on 28 September 1665.
