A famille rose dish painted to the centre with a spray of peonies within a border of diamond shaped panels of further peonies on a star pattern ground -- 9½in. diam; and a blue ground dish decorated in gilt with a writhing dragon chasing a flaming pearl among cloud scrolls, the underside with sprays of bamboo -- 7¾in. diam, Qianlong seal mark, both 18th Century.
