A large globular lobed koro and domed cover with kiku head finial, painted and richly gilt with a continuous band of wisteria hanging from a fence above chrysanthemum, irises issuing from beside a meandering stream, a flowering tree above chrysanthemum issuing from behind a fence, a flowering magnolia tree and other shrubs and plants below stippled stylized clouds, a wide band to the shoulder of fan-shaped panels of geometric patterns, stylized ho-o and flowerheads, the cover similarly decorated -- 13¼in. high, signed and dated Kizan Tempo V (1834) within a large blue mon.
