An English stoneware tankard, with two silver handles and silver mounts, applied to each side with shield-shaped medallions, one engraved with a farmer holding a scythe above the motto FIDE ET VIRTUTE, the other with a monogram and the date Feb. 7th 1896 -- 7½in. high
