Details
A Chinese boxwood rectangular brushrest pierced to the sides with key-fret, the top carved with simulated bamboo ends surrounding a figure painting on rockwork with an attendant below a flower spray (two seals possibly missing) -- 4¾in. long, the poem on the top reads "Kan Shan Shi Jiu Xuan Ti Bi", the poem on the side reads "Bao Hua Fu Mo Dai Shu Xiang", signed Zhu Ren, the opposite with four archaistic characters reading "Hong Ju Qiao Zhai" (Qiao Family of Hong Ju).
