An Arita deep bowl painted in underglaze blue, coloured enamels and gilt to the interior with a central spray of peonies within a border of irises, chrysanthemums and further peonies, the exterior similarly decorated within borders of stiff leaves and trellis pattern (cracked) -- 14½in., 17th/18th Century.
