Rosalia Heiser was a prisoner of the Russians, working in the Siberian coalmines for three years. She lived in Camp Parsch outside Salzburg.

This is one of a number of drawings made in refugees camps in Greece, Germany, Austria and Italy at the request of UNICEF for World Refugee Year 1960

The complete drawings were published by Penguin Books in 1960 under the title Refugees 1960 and sold in aid of world refugees. This drawing appears on p. 17.
