A North Italian olivewood, fruitwood and chequer-strung kneehole writing table, the rectangular top above central frieze drawer and arched kneehole, flanked by two drawers either side, with opposing dummy drawers to the reverse, on square tapering legs, late 18th century, adapted from a dressing table -- 45½in.
