An Edwardian compressed spherical swing-handled tea kettle in the early 18th Century taste, decorated overall with Chinoiseries and engraved with an armorial, crest and motto, the underside with presentation inscription, with a leaf-capped and fluted rising curved spout, slightly-domed detachable cover with compressed finial, and part wicker-covered swing handle, on a similarly-chased stand with scroll and shell supports joined by floral and foliate-pierced aprons, with a part burner, D & J Wellby, London 1905 - 12¼in. overall, 60oz. gross.
