AN ENAMEL AND GEM-SET PENDANT

The circular pendant with a pale green beryl cabochon to the centre surrouded by a circle of lozenge-shaped pink tourmalines in a black, white and blue enamel open-work frame with an outer fringe of pearls

Carlo Guiliano, d.1895 was an Italian goldsmith much influenced by Castellani (see Lot 215). His work concentrates on the reproduction of Italian Renaissance jewellery and often, as in the case of this pendant, displays fine enamel work.
