A 1964 Burns Marvin guitar, serial number 6139 in a white finish; doublecutaway body, scroll headstock with Marvin motif, maple neck, 21 fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, three ReZ-o-Matik pickups, two volume controls, one tone control, selector, bridge, tremolo and tortoiseshell pickguard, with black lettering on bridge Designed and Handcrafted for Hank Marvin - used by Alan Atkins of Judas Priest; accompanied by a letter of authenticity. Lot Essay

Accompanying letter from Alan Atkins concerning the guitar states that I remember borrowing it off Brian [Fieldhouse] once back in '66 to work out a riff I had in mind, that song eventually became 'Victim of Changes'.
