The above jersey was won by a relation of the vendor in a raffle at the Lord Daresbury Hotel, Daresbury, Warrington, in February 1979 when the Liverpool team were staying there overnight.
The above jersey was not worn in the European Cup final, 1978, as the No.11 jersey worn by Graeme Souness in the match was a short-sleeved shirt. However, it is possible that the jersey is the alternative top given by Liverpool to each player that evening
