This camera was made by Carsten Chadt, an engineer from Westfalia, who worked on the design from 1982 onwards. It has a three element lens made by Asanuma which was adapted for the watch camera by Doctor Optik - a Carl Zeiss successor company. The American FBI tested the camera and ordered 100 examples. Production has now ceased.
