A late 19th century French ebony and gilt metal bound rectangular casket, the hinged cover inlaid with marquetry border in kingwood and mother-of-pearl, the centre with a porcelain plaque, the interior lined with satin -- 14½in. (36.8cm.) wide; a Victorian walnut combined lap desk and workbox; and a Victorian ebony glove box.
