A Continental engine-turned plush-lined jewellery casket on floral and foliate feet, the hinged cover inset with a miniature of a classical lady playing a pipe to two dancing putti within an oval Vitruvian scroll surround, the cover also enhanced with panels guilloche-enamelled in olive green and applied with satyrs' masks and ribbons, bearing import marks for London 1928 - 6½in.
