A Derby baluster mask-jug with scrolling handle, painted with a loose spray of flowers among scattered sprigs, the reverse with individual blooms, the spout modelled as a bearded mask, painted in colours below a brown-line rim (extensive hairline crack, restoration to handle and footrim, firing faults and wear), circa 1765 -- 8in. high
