A creamware plate painted in brightly coloured enamels with figures aboard sailboats on a river running through the city, possibly Constantinople, the skyline filled with minarets, trees and houses on the outskirs, the cavetto painted with a simple brown line, the rim with a continous band of foliage (wear and minor chips) -- 14in. diam, 18th/19th Century.
