A Taoist priest's robe, of red silk entirely embroidered in coloured silks and gilt threads, the back with an asymmetrical representation of the pantheon of the heavens, with the Jade Emperor seated and surrounded by other figures, the borders filled with demi-gods and others, also with the twelve imperial symblos of authority within roundels, lined in ivory silk, 1750-1800 (probably re-lined, slight damage on one shoulder and back hem)
