A Cantonese rectangular ivory box and hinged cover carved to the top with three central cartouches of figures at leisure below pagodas and wisteria surrounded by flowers and foliage on a swastika pattern ground within a border of scrolling flowers and foliage, the sides similarly carved with shaped cartouches -- 9½in. wide.
