A letter to "Cara Megria," dated 47 Lougridge Road, S.W., [1886], stating that her "new novel 'vendetta! or the Story of One Forgotten' is now on the point of publication," claiming she has been unable to visit as a result of being "terribly busy correcting the proofs," and explaining: "It has been published suddenly, as the story is considered a 'point' -- after the Dilke scandal"; together with a small bundle of autograph letters from various 19th century correspondents, including Eliza COOK (1818-89).
