A mid-Victorian burr-walnut bookcase, with moulded cornice above five open shelves, fitted with hinged strap-work-carved aprons and flanked by glazed panelled doors between pilasters headed by scrolling volute, the lower section with four panelled doors on plinth, the locks stamped Bramah 124 Piccadilly -- 105in. (267cm.) wide, 23in. (58.5cm.) deep, 94½in. (240cm.) high.
