A kinji ground kobako decorated in iroe hiramakie, togidashi, kinpun and hirame with a square shaped panel depicting huts below pine on a riverbank overlapping a fan shaped panel depicting chrysanthemums tied to bamboo fences on a ground of further flowering shrubs among rockwork, the sides decorated with a meandering river beside further flowers, the underside of the top decorated with a bird among clouds above another river, fitted with a tray decorated with a hut beside a further river and below birds in flight among maple and pine before a mountainous landscape and within a foliate border (chips, some areas broken and re-stuck, old damages) -- 9½in. long.
