A Japanese gilt bronze group modelled as a warrior kneeling on the back of a oni lying on his front with his head turned to look behind, each figure dressed in elaborate robes decorated with mon and foliate roundels, the warrior carrying two swords (part of one sword missing) -- 6½in. high, signed Miyao on a rectangular seal, rectangular giltwood stand decorated with ho-o among foliage.
