A set of four Arita bowls painted in underglaze blue, coloured enamels and gilt to the exteriors with cranes among cloud scrolls in flight above precious objects and lotus flowers -- 4¾in. diam; a Chinese blue and white foliate rimmed bowl and saucer painted with two figures in a boat in a mountainous river landscape -- the saucer 5½in. diam, Chenghua six-character marks; another blue and white bowl and saucer decorated with fishing boats and pavilions -- the saucer 5¾in. diam; a famille rose vase -- 14in. high; a Cantonese rectangular box and cover painted and gilt with birds and butterflies among scattered fruit and flower sprays -- 7in. wide; and a plate similarly decorated -- 9¾in. diam, all 18th Century and later.
