Lot Essay

Fred's owner was attached to the Royal Navy and on board HMS Triumph when he received the news that his wife had gone into Labour with their first child. So excited with this news he was determined to buy a bear as a gift for his wife. They landed in Gibralter and practically the entire island was searched for the right bear. Finally, in a small shop down a quite back alley in a small old dusty box Fred was discovered and the perfect gift was found.
